A Dozen Office Gifts for Less than $10

It’s the holiday season – and that means gifts… to friends, to family, to co-workers, and to bosses. Personal gifts makes sense for friends and family, but what can you give folks at the office (while also not breaking the bank)? Here are a dozen office gifts for less than $10 each that may inspire your gift giving.

Gift #1: Breakfast in a mason jar.

Give your co-workers a comforting breakfast mix by filling a mason jar with a variety of ingredients. Use options like rolled oats, dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, cherries, blueberries, apricots), nuts, chocolate chips, lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice.

Gift #2: Make your own nut mix.

Nuts can be a decadent addition to any holiday table. Try a variety of nuts– pistachios, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, pecans or cashews. Buy nuts in bulk, and then bag them individually. If you want to get fancy, you can make spiced or herbed nuts!

Gift #3: Water bottle.

This environmentally-friendly gift also promotes a healthy behavior! Make sure you get one that is boa-free, like this water bottle made with stainless steel.

Gift #4: Soap.

A wonderful smelling, natural soap will get used and appreciated. I love Handmade For, a small company that makes soap the natural way.

Gift #5: Homemade mini breads.

Use mini loaf pans to make homemade pumpkin bread, zucchini bread, or banana bread. Yum!

Gift #6: Headphones.

You can’t have enough headphones, and “earhook” ear buds allow people to be active. What a good way to promote a healthy behavior!

Gift #7: A donation in their name.

If you are tired of “stuff,” donate to your favorite nonprofit in someone’s name.

Gift #8: Tea or coffee.

Who doesn’t need it? And, you can give tea for stress relief – perfect for the office.

Gift #9: Clementines (or other colorful citrus).

Colorful fruit that doesn’t have a be refrigerated can be a welcome gift that is a flavorful source of vitamin C.

Gift #10: Socks, gloves, or hats.

Something comfy and useful – soft socks, hats, or gloves don’t (usually) require a size and can be a comfy way to show someone you care.

Gift #11: Chocolate-dipped dried fruit.

Dip dried fruit (like apricot, apple, or banana) in melted chocolate like this recipe.

Gift #12: Mug.

With so many inexpensive options, a mug can be a welcome way to enjoy tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.
